tried out the new sally hansen salon effects on my ring fingers. i actually really like these things, they stayed on way better than i thought they would, and were super easy to apply

Deborah Lippmann - Glitter in the Air
This is new from her Spring 2011 collection. It’s a sheer light-blue/cream with blue & pink hexa glitters along with small pink, blue, & silver glitters! Very spring-like, I really love this one a lot (& I usually never like sheers). I put my base first, and used 3 coats of Glitter in the Air.
So different! I don’t know what to make of this one. Will have to go check it out at my local Nordstrom.

I saw a sneak peek of the new Lancôme shades a few months ago (post here) and couldn’t wait to see more. WELL, tonight I cracked open my new issue of Lucky magazine and there it was in the beauty section — in Jean Godfrey-June’s monthly column no less — the shimmery, sheer, glittery “Le 54”.
It’s available for pre-order (Jan 14) on the Nordstrom site, along with a creme called “Violet Groove” which looks like a bluer version of NARS “Pokerface”.

New Yearz Nails. Deep Purple w/ Glitter drips.
Wow. These are the best NYE nails I’ve seen this year. Mine were CND Asphalt with square-ish tips (I was trying to offset a MASSIVE pink/gold tone ring and a black dress).
