Chanel “Blue Satin”. 

These were my tentative choices for a New Year’s Eve nail, but in the end I went for a simpler dark grey than Black Pearl — CND “Asphalt”. It’s been one of my favorites in 2010, and I really need to order CND Copper Shimmer so I can try this look found via All Lacquered Up.

This is a gorgeous color in person (a bit more greenish in the shimmer) but sadly it clashed with my skin tone. Great color though.

I always wish my nail bed were this shape and not the fat square kind. Oh well! This is one of those colors I should have gotten but never did.

Chanel “Ciel de Nuit”. What I wouldn’t give for a useable bottle of this!

This shade is probably my oldest favorite that I’ve ever owned — that or Lancome “Snob”, one of the first (in my world anyway) popular-but-weird neutrals. It was like a puce-grey, I think. I can’t find it on the internet. :0
